Patrick Gavigan begins his third year with the Academy in the fall of 2022. Gavigan is a graduate of Medaille College where he spent five years as a member of the Mavericks’ baseball team.
Gavigan spent his career as a mainstay in the middle infield while also seeing time on the mound and behind the plate in his final two seasons. In 2021, Gavigan was named the team’s Sportsmanship Award nominee while also receiving the Team First Award for his leadership and character.
Currently, Gavigan is a teacher at St. Francis High School where he is also an assistant baseball coach for the Red Raiders.
