DETAILS: Three-day summer clinic designed for ages 5-12 year old ball players. The clinic will be split into two Sessions (Session 1 – beginner type experience / Session 2 – foundational level experience) See below for more info and to register!
Session 1 ($99, Ages 5-8) 9 AM – 12 PM
Morning session designed for beginner players or players with little experience. Learn the game/rules of baseball, learn fundamental skills of catching, throwing, fielding, hitting and coordination training that will translate athletically, participate in games, competitions and more!
Session 2 ($99, Ages 9-12) 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Afternoon session designed for players who have foundational level experience and want to elevate their game. Learn fundamentals of the game that are used in college and professional baseball. Take your game to the next level and maximize your skill set by executing fundamentals that translate to all levels of baseball. Daily hitting, positional catch, defense, pitching instruction as well as competitions and more!
Meet the instructor: Alex O’Donnell
-Former Academy Stars Showcase player
-Played collegiately at Canisius College & Mercyhurst University
-Canisius College: Competed in 70 games at multiple positions in 2015 & 2016
-Mercyhurst: Led team to back-to-back Div. II College World Series appearances as everyday SS
-First team All-PSAC SS in 2019 – led team in multiple offensive categories
-4 years NCAA coaching experience as Recruiting Coordinator / Hitting Coach / Infield Coach
-Joins Academy full time in 2023
